For almost 10 years, Mirna and Vital form a flute-piano duo. It started as a one-time project for a competition, but it grew to be a long-term collaboration. Together, they performed a lot of recitals in the Netherlands.

Pianist Vital Stahievitch was born in Minsk. He graduated from Republican Music College and from Belarusian Academy of Music under the guidance of Professor Zoya Kacharskaya.

He has taken part in numerous national and international festivals. He frequently appears in many cities in Belarus as a soloist, with orchestras and various chamber groups. He performed as a soloist and chamber musician in the most of European countries, in America and Japan. 

Vital has recorded numerous CD’s with music of Schubert, Chopin, Prokofiev, Rachmaninov, Scarlatti. Vital Stahievitch is a prize winner at international competitions in Vilnius, Minsk, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Taranto, Marianske Lazne.

In 2007 Vital completed the Master Degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, his piano teacher was Håkon Austbø.

Since 2012 Vital Stahievitch is teaching at the Conservatory of Amsterdam as a correpetitor.
