Dutch flutist Mirna Ackers enjoys versatility and unites her passion for music, her love for arranging, and her background as a musicologist in her concerts. Starting in the 2024/2025 season, Mirna will be part of the North Netherlands Orchestra as a flutist. Mirna also regularly performs with other Dutch orchestras, such as the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra | Netherlands Chamber Orchestra, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition to her work as an orchestral musician, she is co-organizer of Flutopia, which organizes events for amateur flute players. In the field of chamber music, Mirna has a long-standing collaboration with pianist Vital Stahievitch.
