Sonatas by Poulenc and Prokofiev

Mirna and Vital have been a flute-piano duo for over 10 years. What started off as a one-time performance at the Princes Christina Concours grew into a long-term collaboration. They enjoy playing the standard flute repertoire, but they also like to to delve into lesser-known works or to expand the repertoire by making transcriptions. In addition, they both have an academic background  – Mirna as a musicologist and Vital as an art historian – with which they offer the audience an extra experience. Mirna and Vital have given many recitals throughout the Netherlands and are praised for their strong interplay.

During this concert in Huize Gaudeamus they will perform the flute sonatas by Poulenc and Prokofiev, among others.
